Two things you can do to like your job a little more...
In my life, I've had jobs I've HATED! I've had jobs I've LIKED! And I've had jobs I felt "EHH!" I always thought it was the job, but the more and more I read and learn, the more and more I understand it's ME!
It's my attitude, and it's my thoughts (positive, negative, or neutral).
"Stop chasing happiness when the people and things around you can provide this..."
Here are the two things you can do to like your job a little more...
Search for something you can take a picture of everyday that will give you joy.
For me, this has been the funny t-shirts middle school students wear every day. I will stop a kid in the hallway and tell him/her how much I love their shirt, and subsequently ask "Can I take a picture of it?" I then put it on my Instagram stories to give someone else joy.
In your car, while commuting to work, adjust your rearview mirror and say to yourself three times:
"I love my job, I love my job, I love my job"
...and truly FEEL the love you have for your job, even if you don't feel it at the moment you're trying to trick your brain into feeling it. It's very similar to "fake it 'til you make it."
These two things have worked for me, and I hope they work for you!
